So all of my shenanigans at JustFab payed off not only with scoring with every item that I purchase, but I was able to get some free sample along with my orders! #doublewin The samples that I received was the Burt's Bees Lipsticks and I have 3 different shades (from 3 different orders, of course) and I have to say that these are really nice!  I will give a thorough review a little further down, so come on in and check them out!
First impression is everything when it comes to any product I but, or in this case, get as a free gift, and these lippies didn't let me down!  The beehive pattern on the tops are too cute and is significant to the Burt's Bees brand.  The 2 colors that I have are Scarlet Soaked, Blush Basin and Magenta Rush.

I always line my lips with Chestnut from MAC because unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with lips that have outer definition.  If I were to put the lipstick on by itself, it would just look like it's running into my face.  Does that make since at all?  I'm sure someone can understand me (at least I hope, lol),  Excuse my 14 hour makeup face, I was tired, lol!
My thoughts! Let's start with the actual colors. I am a huge fan of the Magenta Rush and the Blush Basin. The Scarlet Soaked hue is my least favorite. I like BOLD reds whenever I wear them and I feel as this just kinda fades into the background. The Blush Basin is a great nude color, it has pink undertones, but not a s much of a blush in my opinion. But everyone's shade of blush is different. The Magenta Rush is my absolute favorite. I don't know if it's because it reminds me of warmer weather (I don't ya'll, that's just how my mind works) or what but I love this hue!

Now everything else!  the formula of the lipsticks are phenomenal!  It's like butter gliding on your lips and they keep them extra moisturized, which I am a fan of!  Now, if you're looking for a matte finish, then the aren't for you .  You'll get a moisturizing shine that's long lasting!  I didn't get a chance to test the staying power through eating because I didn't eat while I was wearing it and I didn't do the kiss test simply because hubby doesn't like colorful lips lol.  :(  All in all, I really like these lipsticks!  Price points seem to hold fair at around $9 a tube, so a higher priced drugstore item and is avail in 14 different shades.  Have or will you give Burt's Bees lipsticks a try?
