SATURDAY IN THE PARK x L♥VE WITH FOOD

Today my June Love With Food box came and I felt like a kid in a candy store.  It didn't register to me to show you my May box (not sure why), but I definitely wanted to share this month's goodies.  To be honest, I wasn't too impressed with most of the products in the May box, which made me skeptical about this one.  As it turns out, this one is so on point! I'm in love again!

*updated 6.20 with my reviews for each product below*

-June's box contents-
Original Naan Crisps by Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads - "Flame baked for an authentic taste and ideal texture, these mini crackers are picnic perfect!  Dip 'em, top 'em or eat straight from the bag!"
my review -  4/5★★★★★ while I really enjoyed these, they taste like something that I can get from another cracker.  Only thing I would take into account is the fact that they are made in a healthier fashion.

Brownie Brittle by Sheila G in Salted Caramel flavor - "Hide stuff like this!  Like ants to a picnic, your friends will arrive out of nowhere and take over soon as this scrumptious secret is out of the bag!"
my review - 5/5★★★★★ OMG these are the tastiest little things!  Once I opened the bag, I just couldn't stop eating them!  I literally devoured the entire bag in one sitting and dared anyone to ask me for some!  I can't wait to purchase these again!

PopChips in Crazy Hot flavor - "Be the first to try these brand new popchips, hot off the line!  They'll make your taste buds tingle with a slowing, growing burn that's oddly addictive."
my review - 5/5 ★★★★★ another winner with these!  I LOVE hot/spicy foods so this was right up my alley but the tastes/spices weren't too overpowering.  A new snack to add to the list and its healthier than other chips!
Northwest Trail Mix by Emily's - "A naturally balanced combo of protein-packed nuts and vitamin-filled fruit, here's the perfect take-along for that mid-morning stroll."
my review - 1/5★★★★★ sad to say, I didn't enjoy these at all!  I am not a fan of trail mix to begin with unless there is more fruit than nuts.  These were way too salty.

Everything Bar by Sheffa - "Seeds, whole grains and chickpeas give these savory bars everything -- flavor, crunch, protein and fiber.  Looking for sugar?  You've got the wrong bar."
my review - 0/5 ★★★★★ nothing about this bar was tasty!  I love the fact that its extremely healthy but I couldn't even describe the taste of it.  I really wanted to like this but it just didn't do it for me!

Choo Choo Cherry flavored Dried Cranberries by Funny Face - "Ideal nibbling as you burn through that bestseller.  Just make sure to slather on your SPF.  Bright red is best for cranberries, not your skin."
my review - 3/5 ★★★★★ these are tasty once your taste-buds understands what your eating.  I don't know if that makes sense at all, but it took me a minute to understand that these were cranberries with a cherry flavor.

Classic Iced Tea Candy by Bali's Best - "Be refreshed anytime!  Made with real tea extract -- a natural antioxidant source -- it's like having a tall glass of cool that you can pack in your purse."
my review - 4/5 ★★★★★ these are pretty refreshing little pieces of candy.  The iced tea flavor isn't overpowering at all allowing you to enjoy the fact that it's candy.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Bar by Kutoa - There is no description for this one because it came in the place of the Chocolate Maca Bar by Amrita Health (not sure why).  So I did a little research and this is what I found on this bar.  First off, Kutoa is Swahili for "to give" -- "Youth doesn't have to be wasted on the young. In this healthy rendition of a delicious childhood favorite, we've packed in loads of healthy energy, chia and flax seeds to leave you feeling full of youthful energy. Featuring freshly ground cherries and raw peanuts, we never add any sugar or preservatives to this treat.  If you're looking for a nutrient-packed snack with a social impact, look no further than our Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar!"
my review - 1/5 ★★★★★  I did not like this!  I really like peanut butter and jelly but this didn't remind me of it at all. :(

I can tell you right now that the Popchips and the Brownie Brittle are AMAZING!!!  I've already tore through them without leaving any traces of their existences.  I am most definitely going to be looking for them in my area stores and if I can't find them, I'll be ordering them from Love With Food (which you can do if you're LOVING on them).

So, if you're looking for new snacks that are healthy for you while helping to feed America, give Love With Food a try!  You can get 40% off of your first box, just follow my link!  I really enjoyed the Saturday in the Park box and I believe that it should be given a try!  A complete turnaround from the May box!
