Natural Hair Update

Happy August (boy does time fly).  Just thought I would share with you guys an update on how my hair is doing.  The last time I updated you guys was in February and it was making great progress then.  I did some side by side comparisons on the length and I am pleased with the results of it.  I have been wearing sew ins religiously over the past 3-4 months so I was expecting some growth but not as much as I got.  My hair grows at a very slow pace, so I was very excited to see it.  Enough rambling.

These are February-August comparisons

There is still an area in the back that has to catch up with the rest but overall, I think my progress is great!  I dont really have a massive regimen that I follow.  When my hair is down, I wash, Black Tea rinse and deep condition once a week.  That's it.  When in a sew in, I just wash and condition once a week.  Nothing strenuous or detailed.

Let me know what you think!

  5. @kandyseThanks! There are many used for the black tea rinse...I use it mainly to add thickness to my hair...but it strengthens it and so many other things...check it out over at http://www.hairlista.com

  6. @genteelkrisI will do an update once I get do my next install and have it for a while...I dont tighten it though...I feel as if that is putting too much strain on the new grown hair...I could be wrong, but that's just my opinion...
